Supanova Comic Con & Gaming has been the welcoming home of Australia’s pop culture fandom since 2000; a place where fans inspired by imaginary worlds emanating from comics, sci-fi, fantasy, anime,… gaming, nostalgia and literature have been able to come together to celebrate.

Pacific Airshow Gold Coast – will take-off over Australia’s iconic Surfers Paradise Beach 18-20 August 2025. Renowned for its heart-pumping aerobic displays, awe-inspiring aviation feats, huge crowds… and dazzling party atmosphere, Pacific Airshow is the biggest event of its kind in the US and now the inaugural sister event – Pacific Airshow Gold Coast – is set to redefine the airshow experience in Australia too. The three day festival will transform the sky over iconic Surfers Paradise into Australia’s biggest stage, with high-flying performances by elite military aviators and the best civilian performers from around the world. The breath-taking aerial feats performed over Surfers Paradise Beach and backdropped by the iconic Gold Coast skyline are sure to excite and amaze.  Combined with the hospitality on offer, the stage is set to attract visitors from across Australia and all over the world.

The Gold Coast 500 is an annual motor racing event for Supercars, held at the Surfers Paradise Street Circuit in Surfers Paradise, Queensland, Australia. The event has been a regular part of the Supercars… Championship—and its previous iteration, the V8 Supercars Championship—since 2010.

Major Events Gold Coast is thrilled to partner with Bowls Australia and Tourism and Events Queensland in collaboration with the World Bowls Organising Committee to bring the sport’s pinnacle international… competition to the Gold Coast, in what is a major coup for the city. Following the event’s postponement in 2020 and 2021, which later followed by an ultimate cancellation due to COVID-19 restrictions, organisers have undertaken to hold the first staging of a revised competition format in 2023, which will move to a biennial rather than quadrennial staging and do away with all barrier qualifying events to increase global participation.

This is a first for the Gold Coast with fans now able to see the ‘Gunners’ at home rather than having to travel to Brisbane or interstate to see their idols. Kicking off at Perth’s Optus Stadium… on Friday 18 November, Guns N’ Roses will then tour to Suncorp Stadium in Brisbane before rocking into the Gold Coast’s Metricon Stadium on Thursday 24 November. Next up, the band heads to Sydney on Sunday 27 November, then the Adelaide Oval on Tuesday 29 November before the Melbourne Cricket Ground hosts the final stop of the band’s 6-city Australian tour on Saturday 3 December.

The GC50 Run Festival returns to Coolangatta 3-4 December 2022 for a weekend festival of running and beach-side vibes! Now in it’s 26th year, the GC50 Run Festival has been an annual event since its… inception in 1997. Its breathtaking coastal course has seen the event be on the bucket list for many runners around Australia over the years.
